The Indian Super League (ISL) is the premier football competition in India, featuring 10 teams from across the country. The ISL was founded in 2014 with the aim of popularizing the sport and developing the talent pool in India. The ISL is recognised by the All India Football Federation (AIFF) as the top division of the Indian football league system.

The ISL 2023-24 season is the 10th edition of the tournament, which started on September 21, 2023 and will end on March 18, 2024. The season features the same 10 teams as the previous edition, namely Bengaluru FC, Chennaiyin FC, East Bengal FC, FC Goa, Hyderabad FC, Jamshedpur FC, Kerala Blasters FC, Mohun Bagan Super Giant, Mumbai City FC, and NorthEast United FC.

The ISL 2023-24 season follows a double round-robin format, where each team plays every other team twice, once at home and once away, for a total of 18 matches per team. The top four teams at the end of the league stage qualify for the playoffs, where they compete in two-legged semi-finals and a single-leg final to decide the champion.

Odisha FC's goal spree: The Bhubaneswar-based team, which was formerly known as Delhi Dynamos, has been the most prolific team in the league, scoring 11 goals in six matches, the highest among all teams. They have also registered some impressive wins, such as a 2-0 victory over Chennaiyin FC, a 3-2 win over FC Goa, and a 2-2 draw with Mumbai City FC.

 Jorge Rolando Pereyra Díaz's golden boot race: The Argentine forward, who plays for Hyderabad FC, has been the top scorer in the league, netting five goals in five matches. He has scored in every match he has played, including a brace against East Bengal FC and a stunning free-kick against Chennaiyin FC.

- Sahal Abdul Samad's assist masterclass: The Indian midfielder, who plays for Kerala Blasters FC, has been the best provider in the league, setting up three goals in four matches. He has also displayed his creativity and vision, creating 13 chances for his teammates, the second-highest among all players.
